XITTEL and Ruranet Wireless having merged to the newly founded high-speed Internet Service provider on PEI, "ISN Wireless" have just lit up
its tower in New Dominion.
"ISN Wireless" using a new fiber optic backbone is committed to provide all Islanders with high-speed internet within 3 years. "ISN
Wireless" network will be powered by Motorola Canopy product in the 2.4 & 5.8 GHz and 900 MHz bands.
"Our company is committed to deliver high-speed internet into the rural communities of PEI", says Wayne Phelan, manager of "ISN
Wireless". It is our goal to bring the rural areas up to speed so to speak, says Wayne. They will have the same benefits of the internet as
those who live in the urban areas of the island. With the changing of how people/business in today's world operate it is a must that they have
high-speed to compete, be it on PEI or Globally."
"ISN Wireless" is please to acknowledge the Government of PEI who, as per their recent announcements, once again show they see the importance
of broadband availability for all islanders.
"We would like to thank those who were involved in helping us get the tower erected at the centre", says Wayne. With out the community
support we would not be able to bring high-speed into your areas. "Look forward to lighting you all up."
